Understanding

e-liquids

E-liquids are available in a wide variety of flavours and nicotine strengths.

Our e-liquids are mainly made from five ingredients: vegetable glycerine (VG), propylene glycol (PG), flavourings, nicotine and water.

Our e-liquids

Our e-liquids have been custom made to our devices to ensure optimum performance and flavour.

They are manufactured in the EU and use pharmaceutical-grade nicotine. Only flavourings and ingredients of food-grade quality are considered for use; we also prohibit the use of any additives or materials that are classified as carcinogenic, causing genetic mutations or reproductive toxicity, or lead to respiratory allergy if inhaled.

Standards

Currently there are few regulatory vaping-related restrictions worldwide regarding the use of flavourings.

We have published our view on the responsible use of flavours in vaping products and allergy-safe use of e-liquid ingredients.

In the absence of detailed regulations for vapour products, standards and guidelines become critical. We continue to advocate for product standards along with other e-cigarette manufacturers, and we have contributed to the world’s first voluntary standards on e-cigarettes, created by the French Standards Institute AFNOR and the British Standards Institute.
